This website belongs to the Soheir Elmansy Foundation (مؤسسة سهير المنسي). The foundation is being created in memory of Soheir Elmansy.

The site gives information about the foundation’s planned research grants for colon cancer and peritoneal metastasis, and offers free information and tools for families with someone in intensive care, starting in Egypt.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The foundation is in formation and is not yet incorporated or registered anywhere. It will be a private non-operating foundation, funded by Soheir’s family. It does not accept donations.

Until the foundation is established, this website is operated by its founders. When the foundation is established, we will update these terms with its legal name, registration number, registered address and the law that governs these terms.

You are welcome to use this website and its tools for free. We ask that you:

• Use the site lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it.
• Do not copy the site’s content in bulk, or present it as your own, for commercial purposes.
• Do not use the foundation’s name to ask anyone for money, or to suggest you speak for us when you do not.

Everything on this site, including the tools, glossary and lists of questions, is general information. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace the doctors and nurses caring for you or your relative.

In an emergency in Egypt, call 123 for an ambulance or go to the nearest emergency department. We are not an emergency service.

If you ask us, the founders may try to introduce your family to an independent specialist for a second opinion. We do this voluntarily and on a best-effort basis. We cannot promise that an introduction will be possible.

Specialists are independent. They are responsible for their own advice. Any fees are agreed between your family and the specialist. The foundation never takes a fee, commission or referral payment of any kind.

The text, design and tools on this website are © the founders of the Soheir Elmansy Foundation, unless we say otherwise.

Families may freely print, save and share anything they create with our tools, such as a second-opinion file or a list of questions, for personal and non-commercial use. You may also share links to any page on this site.

If you would like to use our content in another way, for example in a hospital leaflet or a training course, please write to us at hello@soheirelmansyfoundation.org. We will usually be happy to help.

We sometimes link to other websites, such as research papers or official sources. We include these links because we think they may help. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

We work hard to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date. But medicine changes, and every patient is different. The site and its tools are provided as they are, without any promise that they are complete, accurate or suitable for your situation.

To the extent permitted by law, the foundation and its founders are not responsible for any loss or harm that results from using this website, its tools, or any introduction to a specialist. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

We plan to add new services in the future, such as support by WhatsApp or text message. Some may come with additional terms, which we will show you at the time, before you use them.

If you contact us by WhatsApp or SMS, your use of those channels is also subject to the terms of WhatsApp and of your telecom provider.

We may update these terms from time to time, and we will update them when the foundation is established. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The version on this page is the one that applies.
