Our mission is to fund research that improves care for serious illness, and to help patients and families through it.
We are starting with two programmes.
Peritoneal metastasis is colon cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. It is hard to detect and treat, and has had less research than other kinds of spread. Once the foundation is established, it will fund research into it through grants.
Our prioritiesFree information and tools in Arabic and English for families with a relative in intensive care. When we can, we put families in touch with specialists for a second opinion. We don’t charge for any of it.

The foundation is funded by Soheir’s family and does not accept donations. If you want to give in her memory, we list registered charities working on colorectal cancer, peritoneal disease and cancer care in Egypt.
